As the owner of a Garcia Yachts you can take part in the rallies organised by the Grand Large Yachting group! Along the way, you’ll alternate between official stopovers – some of which are technical – and periods of free sailing. The organisation takes care of many practical aspects, such as administrative formalities, overnight stays in marinas during official stopovers, as well as contacts for operations during technical stopovers (haulout, maintenance, wintering, parts orders, etc.). Three years, three oceans, more than 30,000 miles to cover – it’s the project of a lifetime! Would you like to discover Patagonia by taking the southern route? Or stay in the Tropics via the Panama Canal? The Grand Large Yachting World Odyssey offers you both! Nearly 30 stopovers to discover the world under sail in a group of enthusiasts, with the safety and ease of a well-established organization.
The first edition took place between the end of 2021 and June 2024. It brought together 32 boats, over 100 crew members and 13 nationalities.

From the Canary Islands to Norway, via Madeira and the Azores, Northern Europe and Scandinavia, the Grand Large Yachting Odyssey offers a unique itinerary, far from the classic Atlantic routes. Between the high seas, coastal sailing, fjord exploration, and canal passages, each stopover is a new experience, combining incredible landscape diversity and rich cultural heritage.

The Grand Large Yachting Nordic Odyssey combines meticulous organisation, mastered technical stopovers and moments of sharing within a passionate fleet, and fully embodies the mission of the Grand Large Yachting group: to accompany sailors, seasoned or not, in the realisation of their dreams of a voyage under sail, with respect for the oceans, in complete safety and serenity.

Our rallies reserved for owners of Grand Large Yachting group sailboats Grand Large Yachting Allures, Outremer, Garcia, Gunboat, RM, and ORC. However, the number of places is limited. If you are interested in an edition, please let us know as soon as possible!
Registration for Grand Large Yachting Odyssey 2027 is still open, while pre-registration for the Grand Large Yachting Odyssey 2029 has just been launched.
